Description
Highbury Chambers is a commercial block of offices situated above shops, built in 1892. The building features red brick construction with yellow brick pilasters and some bathstone dressings. It stands four storeys tall and consists of five bays. The central narrow bay, framed by pilasters, includes a single camber-headed window on each floor. At the parapet level, there is an inscription that reads "Highbury Chambers," and beneath the pediment is the date "1892." The ground floor showcases a stone doorcase with a segmental pediment. On the top floor, there are large semi-circular windows on either side of the central bay, while the first and second floors feature a two-storey splayed oriel window. The outer bays have three camber-headed windows on the second and third floors, and a splayed oriel window on the first floor. The ground floor shopfronts have been modernised.
