Description

This building comprises four storeys plus an attic. Constructed in a Free Renaissance style, it dates to an unknown period. It is built of bathstone and Pennant stone, featuring sash windows. The steeply pitched pavilion roof has a pair of windows set within a pedimented dormer, and is topped by an iron crested parapet. A modern shop front occupies the ground floor. The three upper storeys are divided into three bays by pilasters and feature varied entablatures. The top floor has four rectangular windows in the central bay, flanked by three windows in each of the outer bays. The second floor has three camber-headed windows in the central bay, flanked by two windows in each of the outer bays. A similar arrangement is present on the first floor, although the window glazing has been simplified.
