Description
The presbytery at the Catholic Church of St Mary is a two- and three-storey building constructed with pennant stone in the lower courses and bathstone dressings. It features a slate roof and yellow brick chimneys. The central entrance is through a Gothic archway set in a broad splayed bay, with a Gothic window on each side. On the first floor, there is a central Gothic niche containing a statue, flanked by paired sash windows. To the left, there is a two-storey splayed bay window with panelling between the floors. To the right of the centre, there is a three-storey splayed bay with a gable, similar to the left bay. The elevation to the right is plain and rendered.
