Description
The presbytery of the Roman Catholic Church of St. Mary is an early to mid-19th century building designed in the Gothic Revival style. It is rendered with a slate roof and has rendered stacks. The building is L-shaped and consists of two storeys with a three-window range. On the right side, there is a slightly projecting gabled wing that features an adjacent gabled two-storey porch. The entrance includes a Gothic arched plank door with elaborate iron hinges. Above the door and windows, there are rendered Gothic hood moulds with carved stops. The right wing has a bay window with plate glass sashes and a crenellated parapet, while the left side features a three-light wood mullioned and transomed window with coloured glass. The first floor has sash windows, and the gables have openwork bargeboards. The right return side has a two-window range, with a late 19th-century bay window on the left. The interior has not been inspected. The presbytery is now attached to the Church of St. Mary and forms a group with it, although the house predates the church.
