Description

Number 1 Priory Square is a house dating from the 17th century. It is timber framed with square framing and whitewashed brick infill, topped by an old tile roof and featuring a brick ridge stack. The building has a baffle entry L-plan layout, with a wing extending to the rear. It stands two storeys high with an attic and has a two-window range. The entrance consists of a six-panelled door set in a moulded wood surround, complete with a hood supported by shaped brackets. The right return side of the house displays exposed framing. The interior has not been inspected.
