Description

Red Cow Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century. It features large timber framing with rendered infill and a thatched roof, along with a central brick ridge stack. The building has a 2-unit lobby-entry plan and is single storey with an attic, comprising a 2-window range. The central entrance is a plank door, flanked by 3-light wood mullioned windows on either side. The left return displays timber framing with a Queen-post roof truss at the gable end. The interior has not been inspected, and there is a 20th-century extension to the right.
