Description
Blackalls Farmhouse is probably of early 18th century origin, with alterations in the late 18th century. It is a grey brick farmhouse with red brick detailing, a Welsh slate roof, a brick end stack to the right, and a brick stack to the rear left. The farmhouse is two storeys and an attic, with a three-window front. A double-leaf six-panel door is set within a square porch supported by stone Ionic columns with a cornice. The windows are 20-pane unhorned sashes, except for a 16-pane unhorned sash on the first floor centre. Three gabled dormers feature 2-light casements. Inside, the ground floor retains ovolo moulded spine beams. A corner cupboard with a half-domed top and a 18th century carved wood fireplace are also present on the ground floor to the left.
