Village Farm

Village Farm is a long lofted agricultural building constructed from colourwashed rubble stone, featuring stone tiles on the front roof pitch and asbestos sheets on the rear. The west end of the building has curved angles, a cambered-headed loft opening with stone voussoirs, and a blocked opening to the left of centre below. On the south side facing the yard, there are various openings: a square window to the left, followed by a door with some brick in the left jamb, then lower double doors with a timber lintel set in a disturbed wall rebuilt in brick, a small window next to an added buttress, and a loft door immediately to the right against the end wall of Church Farm. Three blocked window openings facing the road were re-opened with new concrete lintels in 2000. An internal inspection was not available at the time of the resurvey in December 1999.
