Description

The churchyard cross is situated in St John's churchyard and dates from 1884. It features three stone steps, with an inscription on the top step noting that the cross was restored as a memorial to Richard Henry Fitzroy, 2nd Baron Raglan. The base of the cross is medieval, square in shape, and transitions to an octagonal form. The cross itself, also from 1884, has a tapering octagonal shaft that leads to a round capital, topped with a Latin cross that has cusps on its arms.
