Description
43 Monmouth Road is a three-storey building with wholly rendered and painted facades, topped by a Welsh slate roof and rendered stacks. It features a single depth central entry plan with a rear outshut. The front has two windows, with the door located off-centre to the right. The door is panelled and includes a gabled porch supported by very delicate iron posts. To the left, there is a tripartite sash window with 2 over 2 panes flanking a central 6 over 6 pane window, while to the right is a modern 2 over 2 pane sash. The upper windows are 8 over 8 pane sashes, separated by a plain plat band. The roof is plain with ridge stacks. The rear elevation has been altered and refeatured. The interior was not inspected during the resurvey.
