Description

Tail End is a Georgian-fronted townhouse that is attached to buildings on either side. The exterior is rendered with scored roughcast and features a slate roof with overhanging eaves and corniced brick end stacks. The symmetrical frontage includes a three-window range of 12-pane sashes set in reveals. The ground floor mirrors this arrangement, with similar windows and low deep stone sills on either side of a central doorway. The doorway has a reeded surround, a metal-framed oval overlight, and an unusual recessed design with paired round-arched mouldings and a pediment hood. The building also has a plinth.
