Description
The Jubilee Clock is a Victorian clock tower featuring a free-standing square column made of red brick, adorned with both glazed and unglazed terracotta details that support a four-sided clock. The column is set on a two-tiered plinth constructed from stone and blue brick, and it has a tiered base with four black bands that include nailhead moulding above and a decorative cornice. On the west side, there is a relief terracotta plaque depicting a bust of Queen Victoria, while the south side has a metal access hatch for the clock. The east side features a terracotta date inscription plaque, and the north side has a metal inscription plaque with a terracotta depiction of the Royal Arms above it. Surrounding the clock faces are four small ringed columns located at the corners, which are painted black with gold figures in Roman numerals, all set within a white painted boarded surround. At the top, there is a pyramidal lead cap surmounted by a small crown.
