Description
5 Twyn Square is a terrace of three cottages, built in the 19th century, with number 1 slightly projecting from the others. The cottages are rendered and painted, featuring a continuous deep steep-pitched slate roof with slightly swept eaves and two brick corniced ridge stacks. They are two storeys high, with each house having a two-window upper range fitted with 4-pane horned sashes.
On the ground floor, number 1 has two doorways with 20th-century glazed doors and an intervening sash window. Number 3 has a doorway to the right with a 20th-century glazed door and a sash window to the left. Number 5 features a step up to a segmental-headed doorway to the right, also with a 20th-century glazed door and a sash window to the left. There is a battered base on the right side of the terrace.
