Description
9 Twyn Square is a Georgian-fronted house and shop, slightly set forward from The Granary. The building is rendered and painted, featuring raised rendered dressings, and has a slate roof with a yellow brick ridge and end stack. It stands two storeys tall and has a two-window range of 12-pane sashes, each with a rendered architrave that includes a small keystone and sill.
On the ground floor, there are two doorways located at the centre and the end left (shop), both sheltered by hipped bracketed hoods adorned with zigzag ornament. The left side has a modern shop window, while the right end features a sash window. The building is accented by rusticated quoins at the sides and around the centre doorway, and it has a deep painted plinth.
