Description

11 St Mary Street is a small Georgian house and shop, now functioning as a shop with accommodation above, and is attached to buildings on either side. The walls are rendered with scored and painted roughcast, and it features a slate roof with a very tall brick stack set back behind the parapet. The building is two storeys high and has a two-window range of 12-pane sashes with exposed frames set in deep reveals. The ground floor shopfront includes a moulded cornice, side pilasters, a frieze ventilator decorated with rosettes, a tiled plinth, and a marble chequer-pattern step. There is a recessed doorway to the left.
