Description

The War Memorial features a deep ashlar plinth made of large blocks, arranged in two deep nosed steps. The main part of the memorial is two-tiered, with each tier topped by a cornice and orbs. The sides of the memorial slightly taper, and it has fluted angles and sunken panels set in decorative frames. There are metal plaques with incised inscriptions on three sides of the lower section, while the fourth side is engraved. At the top, there is a tall urn.
