Description
Pentwyn Farmhouse is originally a cruck house. It features a steep slate roof and rendered rubble walls, with front steps that are slightly set back to the right. The building has one storey and an attic, with a brick chimney at the left end and a two-storey slated wing at the rear. The facade includes three asymmetrical windows with modern casements set in plain reveals and painted cills, along with three gabled dormers that have two-light casements. There is a pair of first-floor windows on the left gable end.
Inside, the farmhouse retains one cruck-truss over a post-and-panel partition. The sitting room has a large chamfered bressumer and chamfered beams, while a modern stair is also present.
