Description

The Portskewett War Memorial is made of grey granite ashlar and takes the shape of an obelisk standing on a plinth. It features a square two-step base with rough edges. The plinth is tapered and has inscriptions honoring those who fell in World War I and World War II on its base, cap, and sides. The edge of the cap is adorned with guilloche moulding, and the polished shaft of the obelisk has a blunted top.
