Description

The footbridge at Chepstow Station is a railway footbridge made of bolted cast iron. It features decoratively pierced boarding on the gables and canopy, although the canopy is now covered with corrugated material. The structure includes stairs on each side arranged in three bays, with the main bridge consisting of four bays. The two sections are connected by angled upper staircase bays. The bridge parapet has bolted metal panels that incorporate a foundry plate, and the stairs are boarded. Additionally, there are bolted metal trusses supporting the canopy.
