Description

The footbridge at New Mills Station is a mid-19th century structure made of cast iron. It features ornamental balusters and steps that are supported by iron columns topped with knob finials. The sides of the top platform over the tracks have a trellis pattern. There is a similar footbridge located at Furness Vale Station.
