Description

Plough House is a former inn that has been converted into a house and shop. The walls are roughcast rendered and painted, and it features a steep-pitched machine-tile roof with no chimneys. The building has a double pile plan and stands two storeys high with an attic. The front has a two-window range of 4-pane horned sashes, and there is a central door flanked by fluted pilasters and topped with a pedimented hood. The side elevation displays paired gables and a single window range of 4-pane sashes on each side, except for the left side on the ground floor, which retains a tripartite sash with a stone sill.
