Description

The First Hurdle is a pair of Georgian houses that have been combined into a single restaurant. The left unit features pebbledash-rendered walls and a machine tile roof with brick end stacks. It is two storeys high and has a three-window arrangement of 12-pane sash windows, with the ground floor windows paired to the right. There is a central doorway that has a 20th-century door. Attached to the right and slightly lower is a similar unit, which has smooth rendered walls on the ground floor. This unit also has a three-window range of sashes, with 4-pane windows on the first floor and multipane paired windows on the ground floor, located on either side of a central doorway.
