Description

Afon Gwy is a large Georgian house that has been converted into a hotel and restaurant. It is attached to buildings on each side. The walls are roughcast rendered and painted, and it has a slate roof with brick stacks at both ends. The house stands three storeys tall and features a three-window range of 12-pane sash windows with exposed frames. The ground floor has been remodelled, featuring a central doorway with a bracketed hood, a canted multipane bay window to the right, and a flat-roofed extension to the left.
