Description

This is a small, 18th-century Georgian house. The front walls are roughcast rendered and painted, topped by a shallow-pitched slate and pantile roof with a small, rendered stack in the centre of the ridge. The front of the house faces Bridge Street, and it has a two-window arrangement of 16-pane sash windows on the first floor. Similar windows are found in the gable end and the rear cross wing. The main entrance is in the rear cross wing and faces uphill, sheltered by a pitched, slated hood supported by decorative cast-iron brackets. The entrance door itself is panelled and has a margin-glazed surround.
