Description

This is a small Georgian house located at 8 Castle Street, built in the 18th century. The building has two storeys and features a three-window arrangement, with a blind recess in the center. It is covered in cement render and painted, topped with a slate roof that lacks verges and has narrow brick stacks at each end. The windows are 12-pane sashes with thin glazing bars set in plain reveals, and there are painted sills and a plinth. The central doorway is arched and has a six-panelled door, with glazed upper lights.
