Description

The Pay Office is a single-storey, rectangular stone building dating from the 19th century. It features three bays and is constructed from rock-faced, snecked stone with a chamfered plinth. On the north-west elevation, there are two double doors flanking a large, central, blocked window that has a stone sill. All openings are adorned with stone voussoirs. The hipped roof is covered in slate and has a tiled ridge.
