Description

The Calcining Kilns are 19th-century structures made of course rubble stone, built into a bank and designed in a roughly rectangular shape. The two remaining kilns feature semi-circular brick arch openings and are lined with firebrick. At the north end, there is a flight of restored brick steps that leads to the upper level of the kilns.
