Description
The Limekiln on the Inveraray Estate dates back to the 18th century and consists of three buildings. The structures are made of rubble and are currently roofless, with a square layout.
The kiln features a bricklined cylindrical shaft and has a wide, splayed fireplace at its base.
To the south, there is an oblong building that is one storey high and has three narrow blind segmental arches. This building contains two rooms and is connected to the kiln by a low wall.
To the west, there is another oblong building situated at a lower level. This one-storey structure has a gabled roof and a wide segmental arch at its southern end.
