Description
The Watch Tower at Dun Na Cuaiche, located within the Inveraray Castle Estate, was built in 1748 and designed by architect Roger Morris, with masonry work by William Douglas. This 'Gothick' folly is square in shape and consists of one storey and a basement. The structure is made of rubble and features a domed top with an aperture. There is a doorway and two pointed windows that are unglazed. Inside, there is an apsidal recess in the basement and a stone floor.
