Description

The North Range of the Stables at Cherry Park, part of the Inveraray Castle Estate, was built around 1760 by John Adam in the Georgian style. It forms a quadrangular enclosure.

The stables on the northeast and southeast sides are one storey with a loft, featuring ashlar fronts and harled walls facing the yard, topped with gable roofs. A pediment is situated over the pend, and there is elliptical arcading present.

On the west side, the house is one storey with an attic, constructed with harled walls and a gabled slate roof, which includes gabled dormers. It has corner towers that rise to two storeys, made of ashlar with pyramidal roofs and vents at the apices. The windows are designed in the Palladian style, and the yard is cobbled.
