Description

Cwmcarn War Memorial is a small structure standing on three octagonal steps. It features a tapering rectangular pier made of ashlar, which displays inlaid bronze plaques listing the names of the deceased. At the top of the pier is a life-size bronze figure of a soldier in uniform, with his head bowed and hands resting on a reversed upright rifle. The memorial is surrounded by octagonal railings that have spear finials, ball finials on the stanchions, and a single gate topped with a tall spear finial.
