Description

The war memorial is designed as a pylon that stands on steps atop a rectangular base. It is made of ashlar stone and features bronze reliefs on the stepped top, depicting a figure carrying a wreath and sword on the front and a wreath and torch on the back. The names of those who served in both World Wars are inscribed on the sides of the pylon. Surrounding the memorial is a Memorial Garden, which is enclosed by a low rusticated stone wall, with cast-iron railings placed between raised stone piers.
