Description
The Old Church School House is a long building designed in a simple Gothic style, featuring white rendered walls and a slate roof. The former school, located on the left, is a single storey with an attic, while the former school house on the right is two storeys with an attic. There are rendered stacks on the left gable end and between the school and the school house.
The former school has three windows and a porch to the right of the center, which contains a half-lit door and a boarded door inside. The windows are two-light with pointed heads and Y-tracery, and there are smaller half dormers that match this style. The double-fronted former school house has similar windows and an additional porch with a half-lit door.
On the left gable end, there are added windows at the upper right and left that resemble those on the front, along with a one-storey projection. At the back of the school, there are doorways on the right and left with French doors and pointed heads, as well as three half dormers similar to those at the front. Behind the school house, there is an added projection.
Although not inspected, it is noted that an upper floor was added in the former school room in the late 1970s.
