Description

The outdoor baptistry at Lisvane Baptist Chapel is a large square stone bath designed for baptismal immersion, measuring approximately 3 meters deep. It is surrounded by stone walls, some of which are whitewashed. The bath features tiered sides and includes a flight of steps with a railing that leads down to the bottom of the bath. The coping, treads of the steps, and tiered benches are made of flat stones, and there is a low stone stile at the entrance to the enclosure.
