Description

The total immersion baptistery in the churchyard of the Church of Saint Mary is a rendered pool measuring approximately 2.6 meters by 1 meter and 1 meter deep. It features steps leading down on the east side, surrounded by a slate-paved area. The baptistery is enclosed by rubble stone walls, with additional steps at the south ends of the east and west walls. There is a low wall on the south side that has an opening at the west end, along with steps leading down and an outlet channel beneath.
