Description

The baptismal tank at Rhual is a notable structure made of random rubble, featuring a square stone tank situated within an oval enclosure. Stone steps lead down to the tank, and there is a channel on the north side that directs water from the spring that feeds it. The walls on the south side rise at an angle, and a marble plaque on the inner face commemorates the restoration that took place in 1931. On the west side, there is a circular stone enclosure that appears to be built differently and likely served as the area where the minister officiated during services. This enclosure includes three niches set into the inner faces of its walls.
