Description
Cerrig Llwyd is a pair of semi-detached houses dating from the 19th century, featuring lower short rear cross wings. They are constructed of Portland stone with fine ashlar and dark joints, topped with a roof of small slates. The gable ends have raised ashlar coping and kneelers, while the central ridge stack has moulded bands, with additional stacks at the rear and on the cross gables.
The windows are horned sashes with leaded quarry glazing set in wooden frames within stone surrounds. Each house is two stories tall, with a shallow first-floor bay that is corbelled out. The gabled roof includes a diamond datestone, triple-light mullioned windows, and square hoodmoulds, along with a 4-pane sash window on the side. The ground floor features a wider 4-light window and a flat hood supported by decorative brackets over a Tudor-arched doorway, which has a boarded door and a small side hall window.
On the left side elevation, there is a first-floor oriel-type canted bay with a pitched roof made of ashlar slabs, and an inscription stone reading 'JET' above it. The houses rest on a rockfaced stone plinth.
