Description

The Dingle is a house, likely dating to the 20th century, with a tiled roof and a rendered and painted exterior. It has an asymmetrical facade and two storeys. The roof slopes down low over the eaves to the right and over the central left entrance, which features a wide tiled surround and a flat hood covering boarded double doors with small glazed lights, including a bull's eye window. A steep gable, featuring kneelers, rises to the right, with three-light casement windows on each floor; these windows have small panes, tiled sills, and mostly wooden frames, with one leaded light to the side. A larger four-light window is situated on the ground floor to the right, and smaller windows are centrally placed, with a long first-floor landing window set under the eaves. The bay to the left is stepped back and features three-light windows on each floor. An archway connects the house to a garage block. The rear of the house has a projecting gable with a tiled lower storey and French doors.

The house’s plan includes a lounge, dining room, and kitchen, all with windows overlooking the garden, along with a hall, staircase, and a maid’s room to the rear. The upper floor comprises four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a boxroom.
