Description
White Gate Road Bridge and Aqueduct is a road bridge and aqueduct made of rock-faced grey stone. It features a single elliptical arch with a span of 7.3 meters, supported by battered piers with stone voussoirs. Above the parapet, there is a raised band that steps forward over the piers. The bridge has rock-faced stone coping. The aqueduct, which is approximately 1 meter wide, is located behind the south parapet, while the roadway, about 3 meters wide, has sloping brick parapets that vary from one course at the east end to 12 courses at the west end.
