Description
Stables House is a two-storey building constructed with white-painted stucco and features a slate close-eaved roof with small rendered end stacks. The front has a three-window range, showcasing 12-paned windows from the 20th century, with the ground floor windows being longer. The central entrance has a 20th-century door with a slightly cambered head, surrounded by a stuccoed architrave, although the overlight above the door has been removed since 1974. The building also has painted stone window sills.
To the left, there is a one-storey range that was formerly a harness room and trap-shed, which has been converted; part of it is now included in Stables House, while the remainder forms Stables Cottage. The right side of the front features a door, followed by two 12-pane sash windows, another door, and three well-spaced 12-pane sashes. The eaves of the roof are from the 20th century.
The rear of the house is also stuccoed and includes a central stair light, along with a single-storey wing that extends at right angles to the right. The back of the cottage range is constructed from rubble stone. The property has not been inspected.
