Description

This railway bridge, built to carry Pwllmelin Road, is made of red conglomerate stone cut into square blocks, topped with a dressed sandstone coping. It spans a cutting and features straight abutments along with a single segmental arch that has a "shouldered" profile, similar to designs by Isambard Kingdom Brunel for the South Wales Railway.
