Description

This bridge over the Afon Seiont, located partly in the Llanddeiniolen Community, is constructed from roughly coursed rubblestone, featuring irregularly coursed stonework on the coped parapet above a projecting string. It has two semi-circular arches made of red brick voussoirs spanning the river, with a cutwater on the east side. The south abutments are also irregularly coursed, while the road rises to the north to accommodate the arch of a former standard gauge railway. The road then continues in a stone-walled cutting to the old crossing of the former narrow gauge railway.
