Description
The bridge at Pont-Rhythallt dates to an unknown period. It is constructed of regularly coursed and dressed snecked rubblestone, with more irregularly coursed stonework forming coped parapets above a string course. The structure comprises three semi-circular arches built with red brick voussoirs, spanning the river. Immediately adjacent is an arch over the former standard gauge railway, followed by a causeway leading northeast to a further arch over the former narrow gauge railway. Abutments are located at each end of the bridge.
