Description
Pant-y-Celyn is a quarryman's cottage dating from the 19th century. It is a single-storey building with a two-room layout, constructed from painted roughly coursed rubblestone and topped with a graded slate roof. The cottage features 20th-century windows set in original 19th-century openings, with slate cills on either side of a slightly offset boarded door that has a glazed panel. This door is sheltered by an open shallow-gabled porch, which includes fixed windows on the sides. There are integral end stacks with slate drips, and a lean-to addition is present at the rear. The interior was not inspected during the survey conducted in January 1999.
