Description

1 and 2 St Mary Street are two shops that date from the 19th century. The buildings are two storeys tall with an attic and are finished in stucco with a slate roof. There are five windows facing St Mary Street and five on the right return. The first-floor windows feature pediments supported by brackets and shallow architraves, with 12-pane sash glazing. Each elevation has three hipped dormers that contain small-pane casement glazing. The ground floor has modern shopfronts, with the entrance to No 1 located in the corner.
