Description
The National Westminster Bank is a building designed in a painted 16th century style Italianate palazzo facade. It stands three storeys high and features five windows, with sash glazing on the upper floors. The ground storey is characterized by rusticated quoining and a bracketed cornice at the top. The second floor has segmental headed windows with keystones, while the first floor windows are adorned with bracketed pediments. Above the ground floor, there is a dentil cornice. The ground floor includes five arches, with a former entrance door located at the north end, and river god keystones above the rusticated arches. To the right (north), there is a modern entrance bay made of concrete and plate glass. The building has been modernized.
