Description

47 and 48 St Mary Street is a pair of shops with offices above, featuring three storeys plus an attic. The building is constructed of buff ashlar, which is channelled up to the second floor. The facade is articulated by Corinthian columns. The attic includes a very large pair of oculi dormers and a parapet balustrade topped with urn finials. The second floor has three-light mullion and transom windows with pediments above the cornice. On the first floor, there are four-light mullion and transom windows, each with pediments that display floral low relief. The ground floors feature shop fronts.
