Description
The War Memorial in Grange Gardens features a bronze statue of Winged Victory, which holds a laurel wreath and a sword while standing on an orb. This statue is mounted on a tall plinth made of Portland stone, which has reliefs of laurel leaves at its base. The plinth also displays bronze plates that list the names of those who fell in the Great War. The memorial is surrounded by wrought-iron railings that have scrolled panels.
