Description

The Central Workshops of City of Cardiff Operational Services is a long, multi-gabled building constructed in red brick, featuring slate roofs with glass lights, stone copings, and kneelers. It has eleven gables, each with louvred oculi. Generally, each gable has two bays that contain two arched recesses with lunettes. The second and fifth gables include tall doors, and there is a large door located between gables nine and ten. To the left, there is an early 20th-century block that connects to a two-storey, four-window block also made of red brick. A short screen wall is present along the road. The building has a steel truss roof structure.
