Description
The Glamorgan Staff Club is a two-storey building constructed of red brick, featuring moulded brick detailing. It has mullion and transom windows with keystones above segmental heads. The roof is covered with slate, and there are brick chimneys. The west elevation facing Westgate Street has four windows, while the elevation on Quay Street has three windows, both of which are highlighted by paired shallow pilasters. The storeys are separated by dentil cornices, and there is a parapet at the top.
The convex corner of the building includes an aedicule on the first floor that displays a heraldic shield, and there is a panel with a segmental pediment in the attic. The Westgate Street elevation features an entrance located in the narrower third bay, with a door surround that includes a keystone above a segmental head. On the Quay Street elevation, there is a central three-light window flanked by two-light windows.
